AI startups become Venture Capitalists new favorite 🤑

These are super-exciting times if you are building an AI startup. This week alone has seen hundreds of millions of dollars invested in them. Some of the key highlights from the venture world this week:

• AI startup and OpenAI rival Anthropic is raising $300M. This is just one month after raising ~$300M from Google. The company is now valued at $4.1B

• Salesforce’s venture arm has launched a new Generative AI fund of $250M

• NYC based AI startups Amelia and Humane have raised $175M and $100M respectively

Apple watch users have another reason to rejoice: WatchGPT ⌚

Apple watch users can now access the worldwide sensation ChatGPT right on their wrists through the app WatchGPT.

Hidde van der Ploeg is the developer behind the app which is currently priced at $4.99 in the app store.

Users can interact with ChatGPT through the app and share responses via SMS, mail and social media. This means that users will be easily able to share their conversations with friends and family, and even post them on their social media accounts.

There are future updates in the pipeline as well such as chat history, vocal input and output of the responses, which makes this app a must have for all Apple watch users.
